John "Johnny" Kenneth Lowry of Weymouth, MA born on August 27, 1959 passed suddenly on July 6, 2019.
Loving father to Angela Lowry and partner Jake Coffey of Walpole, MA, Amanda Lowry of Weymouth MA, Angela Giannelli of Peabody, MA and step son Jesse Belcher and wife Lisa of Quincy, MA. Son of Walter Lowry Sr. of Quincy, MA, brother of Brian Lowry and wife Nancy of Evanston, IL, Walter Lowry Jr of Chelsea, MA, Annmarie (Lowry) Miranda of Chelsea, MA, Caryn (Lowry) Wall and husband Joe of Arizona, Joe Lowry and fiancé Joanne of Brockton, MA. He also left behind his longtime partner Wendy Pratt of Weymouth, MA. John was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemarie Lowry of Dorchester, MA. He leaves behind 6 grandchildren with one on the way as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many, many friends and his beloved dog Ava.
John was always the life of the party and always lit up the room with his big heart and a crazy sense of humor. Everyone who knew him loved him and he always had a way to make everyone smile. He loved dancing, singing, grilling food, painting, drawing and riding around on his scooter. He was known for rocking a mullet in 2019 and he absolutely loved his Dewar’s.
He will be dearly missed but his family finds comfort in knowing he was an organ donor and his heart will continue to beat on.
Visiting hours will be at the Casper Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10th from 4-7 PM.
