Kathleen M. "Katie" Snitzer, 33, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Lee M. Snitzer and his wife Trisha of Fall River and Brenda A. (Soares) Sylvia and her husband Andy of New Bedford.
Katie was born in Fall River and had been a lifelong resident of the Southcoast area. She was passionate about caring for others and had worked as a C.N.A. She was a very artistic person and expressed this through her drawing and writing poetry in her journal. She enjoyed camping, music and dancing. Most of all, Katie loved spending time with her children.
Survivors along with her parents include her 2 children: Juliana Rae Camacho and Jaden Sanchez; paternal grandmother: Doris Nadolski of New Bedford; Maternal grandparents: Tony Soares, Jr. & Raymonde Soares of Westport; paternal grandparents: Gilbert Amarantes of Fall River, Claudia Munroe Petres and her mother Doris Munroe of Tiverton; 3 sisters: Erica Mello of Hartford, CT, Erin Snitzer of Fall River and Elizabeth Rose Sylvia of New Bedford; along with many aunts, uncles & cousins.
She was the granddaughter of the late Elliot Snitzer and John and Barbara Sylvia.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting contributions in Katie's name which will be donated to local rehabilitation services.
