WORCESTER-Joseph P. Anderson, 90, formerly of 485 Grove Street, died Monday, January 9th in Memorial Hospital after a short illness. His wife, Hester (Truesdale) Anderson died in 1946. He leaves many nephews, nieces and cousins. A sister Muriel E. Price predceased him.
He was born in Worcester the son of Joseph P. Anderson, Sr. and Blanche (Clash) Anderson and graduated from high school in New York City. Mr. Anderson worked in the maintenance department of Consumers Bank for many years, retiring in 1976.
The funeral is Friday, January 13th at 11:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Massachusetts Association for the Blind, 200 Ivy Street, Brookline, MA 02446.
