Barbara Doss Clark, 76, of Tifton, formerly of Crosland, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Legacy Village in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Mrs. Clark will be laid to rest at Omega Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, July 5, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Clarkâs grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Born November 3, 1942 in Tifton, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Oscar Doss and Mildred Gibbs Doss. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Clark; two brothers, Jack Doss and Ray Doss; and one sister, Janice Purvis. Before retiring, she worked as a registered nurse at Tift Regional Medical Center. She loved sewing, working in the yard and she loved to travel. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Omega.
Mrs. Clark is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Debbie and Mark Roberts of Crosland, Beth Wright of Omega and Susan and Rob Stanford of Lenox; six grandchildren and their spouses, Astin and Jennifer Roberts of Crosland, Tyler Stanford and Clark Stanford, both of Lenox, Lasondra and Ciprian Dosoftei of Atlanta, Nicholas Wright of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Zachary Wright of Athens; and three great-grandchildren, Bryce Roberts, Dylan Roberts and Ty Roberts.
