Fall River – Jose F. DoRosario, age 80, of New Bedford passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria de Lourdes (Rosa) DoRosario.
Jose was born in Corvo, Azores to the late Manuel V. and Maria (Fraga) DoRosario. He had worked for Berkshire Hathaway for many years.
He is survived by his daughter, Gina Therrien; grandsons, Alex Ferreira, Ian Therrien and Max Therrien; siblings, Agostino DoRosario and Maria Rosa; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Hospice Foundation.
Jose’s visiting hours will be held Friday evening between 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral services will be held Saturday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 8:00 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
