Dorothy H. Stone, 99, of Derry, NH, passed away Monday July 1, 2019, in Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry. She was born on July 19, 1919, a daughter of the late Harry and Delia (Goodchild) Fullonton and had been a lifelong Derry resident. Dot was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, Class of 1937 and was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration in Derry. She worked as a Bank Teller for Fleet bank for 12 years, retiring in 1989. Dot was the current Boston Post Cane holder in Derry.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Stone and his wife Pat of Salem, NH, son-in-law Dennis Foti of Derry, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren as well and a nephew and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter Kathy Foti in 2012.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:00am in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry, NH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rockingham Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833 or a charity of one’s choice.
