Janet Darlene (Craib) McKain, 67, passed away Friday, June 28, 2019 at Community Hospital in Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born on July 21, 1951 in Anderson, the daughter of Paul and Norma (Frank ) Craib. She had been employed by Anderson Mattress Company as office manager and also by Simon R.O. Corporation as personnel director. Janet enjoyed jewelry making and loved cats.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gary; two brothers, D. Scott Craib and Paul "Pete" ( wife, Kristi) Craib; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; special cousin, Debbie Chambers; and special friend, Tara Bartholomew.
Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Craib.
Cremation has been selected and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
