Lenny Alan Atkins, 53, of West Berrien passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Pastor Pete Daughtrey officiating. Mr. Atkins will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Born February 3, 1966 in East Point, Mr. Atkins was the son of Jim Atkins and Carolyn Breeden Atkins of Tifton. He was employed with Custom Ag Formulators in Adel. He loved his family and loved helping others and he loved to fish. He enjoyed agriculture and Bible Study. He was a member of Albany Bible Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Atkins is survived by his wife, Amy Nichole Gay Atkins of West Berrien; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Caleb and Nichole Atkins and Seth Atkins, all of Tifton and Braden Culpepper of West Berrien; and two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jimmy Atkins of Carrabelle, Florida and David and Jenny Atkins of Tifton.
