Eunice Britt, 76, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, June 20, 2019, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Monday, June 24, 2019, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Clayton Dowd and the Rev. Derrell Hampton officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Britt was born March 1, 1943, in Decatur, Georgia, to the late Alvin Henry & Eunice “Pat” Kinnett Eberhardt. She moved to the community in 1972. She was a former resident of Miami and North Carolina. While living in Miami, Florida, Mrs. Britt worked for Blue Ribbon Meats. She was a seamstress and a former employee of Shaw Industries and Y & W Sportswear. She was owner & operator of Wayside Ceramics. Mrs. Britt enjoyed yard sales and auctions. She was of the Church of God Faith.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Barbara Gail Whitley & Tim of Rebecca, Leslie Dale Parten & Hugh of Adairsville, Dwayne Kelly Britt & Raynell of Milledgeville, Torrie Olivia Holton & Brad of Rebecca, and Bryan O’Neal Britt & Candice of Fitzgerald; seventeen grandchildren: Chucky White & Carrie, Brandi Pendergrass & David, Craig & Carrie Whitley, Tabatha & Michael Gayton, Amanda Hester & Brian, Holly Parten, Madison Parten, Bridgett Parten, Kendall Britt, Ryland Britt, Nicole Holton, Hailey Holton, Brittney Holton, Bradley Holton, LouLou Britt, Luke Britt, and Layken Britt; a granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Parten; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Thompson of Macon; a sister-in-law, Judy Eberhardt of Centerville and a brother-in-law, Jerry Sullivan of Warner Robins; and special friends Dana Bunday and Max Sheffield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Britt; two grandsons: Jeffrey Parten and Ashley Parten; a great-granddaughter, Audrey Ann White; two sisters: Gwen Sullivan and Linda Reeves; and three brothers: Danny Eberhardt, Ronnie Eberhardt and Walter Eberhardt.
