LUDLOW – Susan M. “Super Sue” (Capistrant) Bolduc, 57, of Ludlow and a former resident of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, June 20, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life at her home after a valiant battle with breast cancer surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on June 5, 1962, a beloved daughter of Jeanne E. (Couture) Capistrant and the late Roland E. Capistrant who was Called Home on March 3, 2018. She was raised in Aldenville, graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and lived in Aldenville for many years before moving to Ludlow in 1993. She was employed for many years as a Dental Assistant for Doctors Paul F. Thomas, Daniel F. Thomas and John P. Kirvin in Aldenville. During her leisure time, she enjoyed her many trips to the Mohegan Sun Casino and most recently her trips to the new MGM Casino in Springfield. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who showered her family and friends with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her loving mother-in-law, Helena J. “Lena” (McHugh) Bolduc who was Called Home on July 26, 2018. She leaves her devoted husband, David M. Bolduc. They were married on October 30, 1982 at Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee and were blessed with over 36 years together. In addition to her husband, she leaves her two loving daughters, Hillary S. Balog and her husband, Joseph, of Somers, CT and Tiffany S. Bolduc of Ludlow; her three cherished granddaughters who affectionately called her “Kiki”, Layla, Madyson and Haylee Balog; her loving mother, Jeanne E. (Couture) Capistrant of Chicopee; her loving father-in-law, Robert R. Bolduc of Chicopee; her dear brother, Glenn D. Capistrant and his wife, Lee, of Okinawa, Japan; her dear sister, Gail A. Carrier and her husband, James, and their son, Jimmy, all of Chicopee; and her dear nephew, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended members of the Bolduc and Capistrant families. She will also be deeply missed by her canine companions, Belle and Dallas; and the late Morgan S. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 9 a.m.). Her burial will be private. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
