Anthony F. "Tony" Oliver, 60, of New Bedford passed Friday June 14, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Donald F. Oliver of New Bedford and the late Carmen L. (Morales) Oliver, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
He was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church. He was a graduate of New Bedford High School and LaBaron Hairdressing Academy.
Tony was employed as a hairstylist at various area hair salons. He also worked for People Incorporated in Fall River caring for disabled clients.
Survivors include his father, Donald; his son, Anthony Rather; his daughter, Courtnee Todman; his siblings, Judith Clark, Dawn Whatley, and Gregory Oliver; his grandchildren, Tyrek K. Rather, Taurion Rather and Tayvion Rather; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 20, 2019 at 9:30 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
