Clovis, CA--Berlin, NH--Cecile Marcou, 90, formerly of Clovis, CA, most recently of Berlin, passed away on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 at Coos County Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer's, with her two daughters by her side.
She was born on April 14, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Marie Anne Bisson Robichaud. She attended St. Regis and graduated from Notre Dame H.S., class of 1947. She worked at Wilson Rexall Drugs, Days Jewelry Store, and retired at a young age from Converse Rubber. While in Fl, she volunteered at Homestead Air Force Base hospital. She lived in Berlin, Florida and CA, returning to Berlin in 2015.
Cecile was pre-deceased by husband Ret. Col. William Oscar Marcou and her brothers Leon, Paul, Albert and John Robichaud.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Gail and Leo"Bang"Couture, West Milan Carol and Leo Labbe, Clovis, CA; 4 grandchildren, Wayne and Linda Valliere, Jackson, Chris and Deana Valliere, Berlin, Matthew and Susannah Labbe, Windsor, CA, one grand-daughter, Jennifer Labbe Hicks, Napa Valley, CA; one step-grandson, Nicholas Couture, Litchfield, NH; 5 Great Grandsons, Evan Valliere Meredith, Cameron Valliere, Berlin, Darien and Tyler Labbe and Jacob Labbe Hicks of CA; sister Irene Blais and brother Chief Robichaud, Berlin, one Aunt Adeline Ramsey and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Our Mom was a very generous and loving person to her family with her time and love.
Respecting her wishes, there are no calling hours or services at this time. Celebration of her life will be at a later date at the discretion of the immediate family. Arrangements are in the care of Bryant Funeral Home.
The family of Cecile Marcou would like to offer sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of Coos County Nursing Home, Dr. Temme and Amanda Dustin for all the excellent care that was given to our Mom while a Resident there.
