March 21, 2014 was the day an angel was born named Jeremiah S. Joseph. From day one his presence in the family was irreplaceable. Before you saw Jeremiah, you saw that broad smile on his face that stretched from ear to ear. With open arms he greeted you and always ready to give a hug. AND WHAT A TIGHT HUG IT WAS!!
Jeremiah, loving nicknamed Miah, loved to sing and dance. You could be assured that at family gatherings like Thanksgiving, Miah was going to be the one to get the dancing started. When he wasn’t doing those things, he was busying himself being a big brother and assisting his mom with chores. If you took Jeremiah out to eat you knew the menu consisted of either noodles or chicken nuggets. Your only other choice was cereal. That’s the way it was going to be, and Jeremiah had a way of making you want it. Miah loved his daycare Great Participation Playhouse F.C.C. and shared his love and gift of singing with his classmates. Make the World a Better Place was the song and that is exactly was Jeremiah’s presence did. His love and innocence made things feel better.
On Thursday, May 30, 2019 Jeremiah transitioned from this life. An angel was called home. Jeremiah will never meet his brother who is due to arrive in just a few weeks, but that brother will carry on the name Jeremiah Joseph.
Jeremiah S. Joseph leaves to rejoice in the memories of his life his mom Ytaliashe, his sister Amayiah, his brother Mitch-Seam and his grandmother Myrlande Thompson. His godparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also will carry his memory in their hearts. His Funeral Service will be held in the Imani Temple Ministries, 264 Salem St., Malden on Saturday, June 15 at 9:30AM. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
