Rebecca A. “Becky” Salois-Eaton, 43, of Chester, NH died Tuesday June 11, 2019 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA following a courageous battle with cancer. Becky was born in Methuen, MA on December 8, 1975, a daughter of Ernest E. Salois, Jr., and Diane M. (Dion) Rossi. Becky had resided in Chester since 2016, formerly living in Barnstead, and Derry, NH. Becky was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy Class of 1994. She later received her EMT training. Becky had been employed for Elliot Physicians and Primary Care in Raymond, NH for several years as a medical assistant. She started working as a medical assistant for Lamprey Healthcare in Raymond in 2017.
Becky would do anything for her children, spreading her time between dance schedules, baseball games and other sporting events. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and family at the beach. Becky was involved with Dana Farber support groups and enjoyed reaching out to help others experiencing similar health concerns.
She is survived by her three children, Abigail Eaton, James Eaton, and Joseph Eaton, all of Chester, her father, Ernest E. Salois, Jr. and his wife Charlene of Nottingham, NH, her mother, Diane M. (Dion) Rossi and her husband William of Fremont, NH, her brother, Eric Salois of St. Louis, MO, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Becky was predeceased by her brother, Ernest E. “Ernie” Salois, III in 1993.
Calling hours were held on Sunday June 16, 2019 from 1 – 5 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Monday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in memory of Rebecca Salois- Eaton to support Dr. Michael Nathenson’s Research Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
