Herb A. Silverman, age 95, of Canton passed away June 8th at the Tippett House in Needham. Born in Cambridge, he graduated from Brookline High School, Stanford University, Santa Clara University and was an Army Veteran of WW II. He worked for many years as a Manager for Bradley’s Department Stores. Herb has lived in Canton since 1972 where he was a member of the Canto Lions Club and the bus driver and an active member of the Canton Senior Center for over 30 years.
Beloved husband of the late Barbara J. (Doucette). Father of Barry Silverman of Canton and David Silverman of Kirkland, WA. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton, Thursday at 12 noon. Visiting hours prior to the service from 11:00 to 12 noon. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park.
