Loving grandmother of Danny, Jenny and Brian Britton. Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday 4-6 pm. Burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
Obituary
Mrs. Mercuri died Thursday at Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Malden a daughter of Dorothy (Burgess) (Sheridan) Meehan of Malden and the late Thomas Sheridan. She had resided in Easton for several years and most recently at the O’Brien Towers in Quincy for many years.
For many years she had been employed at Dependable Cleaners in Quincy. She retired 10 years ago due to illness.
She loved to dance and play cards especially gin. .
In addition to her mother she is survived by a daughter and son Barbara and Walter Britton both of W. Bridgewater. Three grandchildren Danny, Jenny and Brian Britton

She was the sister of the late Robert Sheridan
A prayer service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street, Brockton Wednesday at 4 pm. Burial will be at a later date in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
