Florence Elaine (Charron) Sirois, age 80, of Brockton, passed from her earthly home to her eternal home on Monday, June 3, 2019. Born in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Florence (Welsh) Charron. Florence was raised in Boston, Roslindale and Randolph and was a graduate of Randolph High School class of 1956. Florence had been a resident of Brockton since the late 1970’s and had been employed as a home health aide.
Florence appreciated all of God’s creations and would always say that she felt her savior’s presence most when gazing up at the clouds. She loved birds and struggled down four flights of stairs every day to find food to feed to them. She led a humble life and always believed that others needs were more important than hers. Florence was a quiet, kind and giving person. She enjoyed knitting, scrap booking, collecting items to give to the Brockton charities and spending time at Duxbury Beach. But her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Florence is survived by her children, Susan Morgan-Nocon of Holbrook, Faith Farnum of Green, ME and Joseph Sirois of Lisbon, ME and her sisters Judi Picard of CA and Grace Olive of FL. She is also survived by a very dear cousin Diane, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 10-11 am in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, followed by a funeral service at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
