Mary Louise Simpson Davis of 141 Clardon St. Boston Massachusetts departed her eathly life Tuesday May 28, 2019.
Mary Louise was born in Rock Hill, S.C. on February 21, 1943. She is proceeded in death by her parents Walter Price Simpson & Janie Mae Davis Simpson, brothers James Edward Simpson and David Lee Simpson all of Rock Hill, S.C.
Simp, as she was affectionately call by classmates and friends, , graduated from Emmett Scott High School of Rock Hill, S.C. in June 1961. Upon graduation, he made her home in Boston MA,, where she attended and graduate from Bryant & Stratton College.. She became employed for the State of MA as a Food Stamp Social Worker in the Roxbury Crossing & Grove Hall communities for over 28 years before leaving on disability.
Later in life she joined Dorchester Berea Seventh-day Adventist Church where she was a faithful member until her illness.
Sister, as she was affectionately called by close family, leaves to mourn her passing, one son Walter Bernard Davis (Connie), two sisters, Janie Marian Miller and Doris Elaine Simpson, all of Rock Hill, S.C.; Her special niece Aisha Kai Simpson and a special nephew Michael Tarell Hall (Leola) both of Rock Hill, S.C.; A host of nieces and nephew; and her close cousin Ida Mae Massey, who was her inspiration to move to Boston and her best friend, Jacqueline Finely Thomas of Rock Hill, S.C.
