Patricia Damon “Pat", 73, of Middleboro, peacefully passed away Saturday March 30th at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, MA from complications from a recent surgery. She is survived by her two sons Shawn and Edward Shay and was predeceased by her husband, Forest Damon.
Pat was born on June 26, 1945 in Boston MA daughter of Arthur Langley and Letitia Langley. She attended school in Whitman, MA and graduated from Whitman Hanson in 1963. She married Albert Shay in 1969. The two divorced in 1986 and remained friends. Pat married Forest Damon in 1989 and together they lived in East Bridgewater, MA.
Pat worked various manufacturing jobs from E. Norris Brown to the Foxboro Company where she retired. Pat was animal lover who through the years had many dogs, birds, and cats. She was very social even after her stroke that made conversation very difficult for her. She had recently moved to the Oakhill Healthcare in Middleboro where she enjoyed playing bingo and talking to other residents.
Celebration of Life services will be performed at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rt 58 at the rotary) Whitman, on Saturday June 22nd at 2:00 PM. Visitation we be one hour prior to the Celebration from 1:00-2:00PM.
