Raymond P. Beaudet, 73, of Berlin passed away on May 28, 2019. He was born on January 11, 1946, the son of Herman and Simone Beaudet. He was a lifelong resident of Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School in 1965.
He worked construction jobs, for Wildcat Ski Area and Mt. Washington Auto Road. After that, he was hired at James River Corp. and later Wausaw Paper Mill where he retired in 2006, after working there for 40 years. He served in the National Guard for 12 years. He loved boating, fishing, hunting, and motorcycle riding. He also loved camping and traveling the New England states.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Beaudet of Berlin; sister Jeannette Morin and husband Phil of Berlin, NH; sister-in-law Ann Beaudet of Elliot, ME; two step-sons David Lescadre and his wife Nicole of Manchester, and Steven Lescadre of Bridgewater, MA; two grandchildren Matthew and Allison Lescadre of Bridgewater, MA; three brothers-in-law Donald Deschenes, William Dussault, and Gerald Dussault and wife Janice. He was predeceased by his son Scott; his parents Herman and Simone; two brothers Donald and Richard; and his sister Jeannine Astle.
There will be no services. Interment will take place with the family at a later date. Donations in Raymond’s name may be made to his favorite charity: the Disabled American Veterans.
