Florence J. (Langone) Cameron, 100 years old, formerly of Green Street, Woburn, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 26, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis R. Cameron. Born in Woburn she was the daughter of the late Carmella Langone.
Flo, as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, was a Woburn resident until the age of 91. She then moved to Pittsburgh, PA to be closer to her family. Flo was a longtime Avon and Fuller Brush Lady. For many years she enjoyed working the election polls here in Woburn. She was also very active for many years in the adult education program where she enjoyed learning about and refinishing many pieces of furniture. Most recently she celebrated her 100th birthday and received many cards from family friends after seeing an article about her in the Woburn Times. This was something she truly enjoyed.
Florence is survived by her son, Richard "Dick" Cameron and his wife Joanie. She was the loving grandmother of Heather Anderson, Matthew Cameron and his wife Tatum, and Melissa Butler. Loving great grandmother of Shane, Ryan, Neely and Holbrook. Sister of the late Grace Lovallo and Etta Genocopolis. Aunt of Lenora Anzelloti her husband Rocky, their daughter Jamie Hein and family, and Marie Aleman her husband Bill and their daughters, Megan Aleman, Keeley Maiella and family, and Robyn MacDougall and family. Further survived by her ex daughter-in-law Nancy Carlson Cameron as well as her bonus grandchildren, Jon Kaminski, Laura Kaminski, and Chris Kaminski and his wife Sarah, her bonus great grandchildren, Ziggy and Tripp.
A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Monday, June 3rd, at 11 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service starting at 9 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
