Frederick F. Scearbo, Jr. a lifelong resident of Woburn passed away early Monday morning, May 27, 2019 at his home following a period of declining health. He was 83 years of age. Fred was the beloved husband of Patricia C. (Gallagher) Scearbo and together they shared sixty years of marriage. Born in Woburn, Fred was one of five children of the late Frederick F. and Philomena (Bevelacqua) Scearbo.
Fred was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School with the class of 1953. He was a proud United States Army Veteran and also for many years served as a member of the Woburn Planning Board. Prior to his retirement, Fred had a long career as a Sales Representative in the manufacturing industry. When not working, Fred loved to put his culinary skills to good use. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends and they truly enjoyed his delicious creations. Nothing made Fred happier than to be surrounded by his family, friends and some good food.
Sadly in addition to his late parents, Fred is predeceased by his daughter; Karen M. Hughes, grandson Christopher Hughes, sister, Rose Ranaudo and brothers, Joe and Frank Scearbo.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia C. (Gallagher) Scearbo, son Rick Scearbo and his wife Lori of Southboro. He was the loving grandfather of Jake, Lily, Sophie and Tess Scearbo, and Ryan Hughes. Loving great grandfather of Dylan and Christopher Hughes. Brother of Connie Pandolph of Woburn.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday, June 1st, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
