Anthony J. Siracusa of Medford died on Monday, May 27, at Winchester Hospital. Born and raised in East Boston, he was the son of the late Antonio and Agrippina (Pace) Siracusa. Anthony proudly served in the Navy during World War II. After the war he settled in Medford with his wife and was employed as a tailor. Anthony loved family gatherings, and he loved to play golf.
Anthony was the beloved husband of the late Marie T. (Ferraguto) Siracusa, and the devoted father of Lisa Siracusa Baxter of Tampa, Florida, Donna McCarthy and her husband John of Medford, and Mark Siracusa and his wife Patricia of Salem, New Hampshire. He was the loving grandfather of Jillian, Justin, Kendall, Matthew, Shannon and Richard, and is survived by many loving nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, June 1 at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, May 31 from 4 through 7 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
