Roger? ?Marble? was born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 1, 1959 to Carmelia Marble and Kenneth Roger Saunders. He attended Boston Public Schools. As a teenager he was excited about his decision to accept Christ as his Lord and Saviour. His laughter was contagious and he loved to joke and bring joy and laughter to others. Roger also liked being outdoors and would often go fishing. He would cook his catch and share with whomever was around. Roger loved to cook and was a good cook. As his mother’s health declined he cooked many meals for her; breakfast, lunch or dinner it didn’t matter. And everything was served with joy. Recently one of his favorite pastimes was watching cowboy movies with his mom. Roger loved music, dancing and singing, even though he couldn’t carry a tune.
Roger Marble’s presence will be missed by all who loved him: his mother, his loving daughter Nichol Harris; brother, Mark Marble; sister, Linda Curtain (Eugene); sister, Krystal Marble-Nunez (Austin); granddaughters, Genia Jenkins and Amiah Phillip and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.ll
