Pearl A. (Raymond) Sterczala, 92, passed away peacefully with her daughters, Kathy and Korey by her side on May 22, 2019.
Her husband of 40 years, Joseph C. Sterczala died in 1994.
She leaves two daughters, Kathleen E. Coggins of Southbridge, with whom she lived with for over 6 years and Korey Ann Sterczala of Webster, one brother, Donald E. Raymond of Webster,
and two grandchildren, Keri-Ann and Tyler Simonelli, four nieces, Deborah Cooper, Kim Emerson, Celeste Thompson and Beth Boudreau.
Pearl was also predeceased by a son, Kerry J. Sterczala who died November 24, 1988 and a sister, Lorraine L. Katrenak who died June 25, 2008.
She was born in Dudley, December 5, 1926, daughter of the late Albert and Noella (Plasse) Raymond and lived in Webster for many years, prior to moving to Southbridge.
Pearl worked with her husband and son at the former Kerry’s Ltd. In Webster for many years, always the Lady, always with a Smile, and always dressed impeccably, affectionately known as ‘Lil Pearl’.
She will be missed by all that knew her.
Pearl was a member of St. Louis Church, loved to dance, enjoyed her time at the family Lake house in Webster and especially enjoyed being with her family.
There are no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass will be Friday, May 31, 2019 at 11 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St., Webster (Kindly meet at the church)
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA. 02472.
