Stephen J. Sindoni, 78, of Plant City, FL died unexpectedly at home on May 12, 2019. He was the husband of the late Elaine M. (Hines) Sindoni
Steve was born and raised in Nahant and was the son of the late Anthony and Jenny (Famulari) Sindoni. He graduated from Lynn English High School and earned his engineering degree from Northeastern. Steve married Elaine and together they raised their family in Salem. He worked for Sylvania Lighting and relocated to Florida 25 years ago where he enjoyed golf and entertaining family and friends.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, his siblings: Richie, Helen and Joey, his wife Elaine and his daughter Laurie Capra. He is survived by his son John of Clearwater, FL, a daughter Lisa (Ed Mango) of Cocoa, FL,; four grandchildren: Jennifer and Christopher Lepore, Cristina and Nicholas Capra. Other survivors include aunts, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and several cousins. He is also survived by his 100 year old godfather, Rocky Brienzo.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 10, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church, 15 Hawthorne Blvd., Salem at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
