Jeanne R. Nadeau, 100, of Berlin, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday May 20, 2019 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital after a fall at her home. She was born in Berlin on June 14, 1918 the daughter of Edouard and Odilla (Jacques) Maurais and was a lifelong resident. Jeanne was a member of Good Shepherd Parish.
Family includes her children Louise Guerin and husband Donald of Berlin, NH, Raymond Nadeau and wife Jeanne of Berlin, NH, Claudette Morneau and husband George of Milan, NH, Maurice Nadeau and wife Janet of Gorham, NH and Arline Kimball and husband Thomas of Springville, UT; daughter-in-law Linda Nadeau of Berlin, NH; grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Florence Roy of Berlin, NH and Theresa Godin and husband Romeo of Berlin, NH; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Aime Nadeau, sons Roger Nadeau and Claude Nadeau and siblings Irene Langlais, Blandine Maurais, Marie Dupuis, Gilberte Roy, Alphonse Maurais, Marguerite Coulombe and Albert Maurais.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 28, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Good Shepherd Parish or to a charity of one’s choice.
