Mr. Fred C. Ottolini, 81, of 363 Champlain Street, Berlin, NH passed away early Saturday morning January 7, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Lewiston, ME on June 2, 1924, the son of Sylvio and Yvonne (Valliere) Ottolini and lived most of his life here in Berlin. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Brown Company and James River Corporation. Mr. Ottolini was a member of St. Kieran Church now known as Good Shepherd Parish, a member of the VFW White Mountain Post #2520 and a veteran of the US Navy. He loved going to his camp, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He also loved doing random acts of kindness for neighbors and friends.
Members of his family include his wife of 59 years Lucille (Richards) Ottolini of Berlin; four daughters Judy Lefflbine and her husband David of Manchester, CT, Karen Saucier and her husband Mike of Berlin, NH, Nancy Dunn and her husband George of Manchester, CT and Carol Raymond and her husband Yves of Berlin, NH; two sons Alan Ottolini and his wife Ann of Madison, NH and Gary Ottolini and his wife Debbie of Weare, NH; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one wonderful brother Joe Ottolini of Berlin, NH; four sisters Dorothy Aubin of Las Vegas, NV, Peggy Arguin of Hampton, NH, Pauline Mackinnon of Colebrook, NH and Barbara Robichaud of Rochester, NH; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated on Wednesday morning Jan. 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin, NH. A memorial calling hour will be held at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, prior to the church mass. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to the A.V. Home Care Services, 795 Main Street, Berlin, NH 03570 in his memory.
