Wilbur W. “Bill” Otto Jr., 75, of Derry, NH, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday May 14, 2019, in Parkland Medical Center, Derry. He was born in Rockville, CT on June 10, 1943, a son of the late Wilbur and Rita (Shea) Otto. Bill grew up and was educated in Rockville, CT. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He worked for the Police Department in Hartford, CT and later worked in Sales for various local businesses.
He is survived by his beloved longtime companion, Joan McKay of Derry, their children, Kimberly O’Brien and husband Walter and John J. McKay and wife Rhianna, their grandchildren, Haley and Aiden O’Brien and Lillianna and John McKay, brother, Thomas Otto and wife Marjorie, sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and George Banakos, Julie and Bob Jette, Paula and Jim Kitses, many nieces and nephews as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 5 - 8 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Catholic prayer service was held on Friday, May 17th at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry.
