WESTBROOK- Sharon Phinney Clark, age 76, passed away peacefully from a brief illness on May 10, 2019 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House with her family at her side.
She was born in Westbrook on Nov. 29, 1943, a child of the late Theodore and Marie (Davis) Poitras.
After graduating from Westbrook High School in 1962, Sharon went on to work for companies such as Sebago Moc, B&M, Hood’s, and worked retail at Zayre’s, and most recently at Scarborough Downs.
Sharon will always be remembered for the enjoyment she had with crafts. She was very skilled in crafting and even taught craft classes. Sharon also enjoyed quilting, making blankets and afghans, and camping throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Sharon will also be remembered for her love of family and her late German Shepherd named Princess.
She is predeceased by a sister- Marcia Cox.
Sharon is survived by her beloved husband- Raymond E. Clark; her children- Cheryl Boullie and her husband Richard, Cindy D’Alfonso and her husband Sam, and John Phinney and his wife Amiee; step children- Earlon Clark and his wife Sandra, Raymond Clark and his wife Jackie, and Lynda Lord and her husband Daniel; siblings- Jim Poitras, and Carol Cole; fourteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 20 at 2 PM at Hillside Cemetery, Huston Road, Gorham.
