Parsonsfield - Irene Ann Dehmer, 80, of Parsonsfield died on May 9, 2019 at her home after a long illness. She was born in Queens, New York on August 22, 1938 a daughter of Michael and Katherine (O'Brien) Martin and attended Queens parochial schools. She married Robert C. Dehmer in 1959.
Irene worked as a travel agent for several years before moving to Maine. She and her husband owned and operated Dehmer's Market in Porter Village for several years. She later worked at Yield House in Ossipee and North Conway for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking and reading in her spare time, but above all loved being a homemaker and especially a grandmother.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Dehmer, a daughter, Deborah Scott, and a sister, Rita Spencer. Surviving are her children, Maureen Rogers of Mississippi, and Robert D. Dehmer of Parsonsfield. Six siblings: Frank, John, Michael "Buddy", Kathleen, Pat and Maureen. Also eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
