James A. Noble, 79, of Derry, NH, passed away Monday May 6, 2019, at his home. He was born in Palmer, MA on December 9, 1939, a son of the late Stanley and Stella (Maccum) Noble. James proudly served his country in the US Army. He worked at Gillette for over 26 years, retiring as a Process specialist. He loved to go fishing, watch westerns and spending time outside. James enjoyed boating and owned several boats. He was a long-time member of the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge where he would spend his time playing 45’s and cribbage with his friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife Elaine (Sweezy) Noble, his children, Mark Noble and his wife Tammy, Theresa Hunt and her husband Steve, James Noble, Jamie Garrett and her husband Steven and AnnMarie Brescia and her husband William; step-children, Jim Bourdelais, Michael Bourdelais and April Bourdelais; as well as numerous grandchildren including Sarah Bourdelais and Nicky Bourdelais.
Graveside services were held by the family on Monday May 13, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. Following interment, a gathering followed at the Derry Salem Elks Lodge, 39 Shadow Lake Rd Salem, NH 03079.
