Worcester – Carolyn G. (Maneely) Warren, 71, of Worcester, passed away while surrounded by her family on Friday, May 3rd in the UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Tara-Ann Warren of Worcester; her two grandchildren, Natasha Warren and Anthony Sirianni Jr.; her life partner, John Pantauzis and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edward and Mary Ann (Schab) Maneely and is also predeceased by a brother, Edward Maneely and a sister, Ann Shea.
Ms. Warren worked in the social services industry and spent over 27 years as a detox counselor for AdCare Hospital. She enjoyed being with her family, especially when they were taking trips to Dunkin Donuts and Elm Park. Carolyn was dedicated to causes that she believed in and often recounted her time when she was in Washington DC and was arrested with many others while fighting for their beliefs.
Funeral services are being held privately and under the direction of Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities 10 Hammond Street Worcester, MA 01610.
