Goldie’s family always came first in her life until she was saved by Jesus in 1983 and then “He” became first. Goldie came to know a new kind of peace. Goldie never felt alone because she enjoyed reading and focusing on the Holy Scriptures. Goldie spent many years associated with the Yakima Evangelical Church, Church of the Nazarene in Grandview and later attended the Bethel Church in Prosser. Goldie served as a Worthy Matron of the Grandview Eastern Star, React Association as a monitor for emergencies and president of the residents committee at Sun Terrace for several years. She loved painting, especially landscapes and took great pride in her commercial/graphic art work. She enjoyed bowling with friends on a league in Grandview. Goldie was also an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed tailoring clothes for friends and residents at Sun Terrace. Another passion that Goldie took delight in was spending time with her dear family at family gatherings, camping trips and clam digging on the Washington Coast.
Goldie is survived by her sons, John Hultberg (Janet), Lloyd Hultberg (Nancy), all of Prosser, and Glen Hultberg (Rebecca) of Medical Lake; her daughter, Linda Elhard (Darrold) of Buckley;
over twenty grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one half-sister, Earlene Grass.
