Donald B. Russell (86) of Brockton died May 7th in Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the loving husband of Katie (Drain) Russell.
He was born in Henderson, North Carolina son of the late Matthew and Carrie Russell. Don was a carpenter by trade. He loved to fish, hunt, listen to the blues and watch westerns.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons, James Jones and Donald Russell Jr. both of Brockton, 3 daughters, Nadine Russell-Johnson and husband Freddie Johnson, Cassandra Russell and Bobbie Jean Starks all of Brockton, many grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral Services will be Celebrated in the House of Prayer #5 Apostolic Church of God 848 Main Street Brockton Friday May 17th at 7 pm. Cremation to follow. Viewing in the Church 6 pm prior to services.
