Marilyn (Rice) Ward, age 87, passed away at the Winchester Nursing Center in Winchester, Mass, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
She was the beloved wife of Robert D. Ward, who passed away on December 1, 2009.
Born in Nashua, NH on March 16, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Rice and the late Hazel (Nichols) Rice.
She was the mother of Nancy J. DiBlasi and her late husband Daniel, of Billerica, and Lori A. Ward, of Tewksbury.
Grandmother of Robert Beaudoin and his wife Shaylah, Paul Marciello, Jr., Steven Beaudoin, Matthew Beaudoin, Courtney DaSilva and her husband Arthur, Megan Beaudoin, Keri Marciello, and Christopher DiBlasi. She also leaves ten great grandchildren. Marilyn was the sister of the late Jean Weisert.
Calling hours are Monday, May 13, from 4-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the MSPCA-Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
