Leonard R. "Lenny" Biscardi, of Medford, passed away on Monday, May 6th. He was 74. Born and raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Frank and Eleanor (Lalley) Biscardi.
Lenny enlisted in the United States Army National Guard, from Boston, serving during the Vietnam War. For the last several years, he was employed as a concierge at The Flagship Wharf Condominiums located in Charlestown, he loved all of the residents and they loved him in return.
After his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his friends in Harvard Square, where they would visit all the local coffee shops. A former member of the Charles River Sailing Club, and dedicated member of the Park Street Group, part of the 12 Step Recovery Program, Lenny's main mission was to help others who were in need.
Leonard was the dear brother of Paul F. Biscardi, and his wife Christine of Newburyport, and the late William Biscardi. He was the loving uncle of Michael F. Biscardi, of Washington, DC, and the loving nephew of Carroll Lalley of Stoneham, and longtime friend of Aziza Izem, and former husband of Diane (Aiello) Biscardi.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Tuesday, May 14th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 7 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
