Raymond Lee Craib, 88, of Anderson died on May 5, 2019 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born on July 10, 1930 in Anderson, the son of Chester and Bertha (Fish) Craib.
He worked production at Delco Remy for 37 years before retiring in 1990.
He was a member of Daleville Christian Church and a lifetime member of Daleville Masonic Lodge #730.
He enjoyed training and showing horses, loved to farm, camp with his kids and loved his dog.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce A. (Rinker) Craib of Anderson, whom he married July 30, 1961; three children, Becky Craib Holloman of Daleville, Gary Craib (Sam Wagers) of New Castle, Alan (Carla) Craib of Chesterfield; three sisters, Doris Humbert of Daleville, Roberta (Ted) Mowrey of Yorktown, Beverly (Wallace) Cowart of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Charity (Jeremy) Needler, Crystal Bailey and Clay (Breanna) Craib, one step-granddaughter, Brook Watters; four great-grandchildren, Meggan, Jarrett, Aydenn Needler and Andrew Preston Craib; step-great-grandson Lyric Watters; several nieces and nephews including a special thank you to Larry and Karen Craib.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister-in-law, Dale (Claraelle) Craib.
Services will be 12 noon on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Jerry Young of Christian Congregation Church in Alexandria. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Indiana State School for the Blind.
