William J. Riddle

TEWKSBURY: William J. Riddle, age 70, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Monday, April 29, 2019 surrounded by his family.
Born in Lowell on August 16, 1948, he was the son of the late Albert L. Riddle, Jr. and the late Jessie (Allen) Riddle.
Billy was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury High School.
He worked in the commercial and residential plastering industry from the time when he was a young man until his retirement from his own plastering company.
He was a former member of the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks, and Wamesit Masonic Lodge in Tewksbury.
Billy enjoyed a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his children. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach, watching the Bruins, and listening to music.
He is survived by his four children, Kimberly Robito and her husband Jerry of East Hampstead, NH, Amy Riddle Costigan and her husband Brian of Pembroke, NH, Corleen Riddle of Lawrence, and Joshua W. Riddle of Tempe, AZ; one grandchild, Alisha Rolon; his siblings, Albert L. Riddle, III and his wife Kate of Merrimack, NH, Brian T. Riddle and his wife Joan of Grimes, IA, Arlene Pappalardo of Florida and Connecticut, and Michael Riddle of Wilmington. He was the former husband of Patricia (Brothers) Riddle of Lawrence and Gayette (Addison) Riddle of Tempe, AZ.
Billy was the father of the late Kylie Riddle, and brother of the late Cynthia Lefebvre, Carol Kenyon, Joan Pollard, Dorothy Pace, Arthur and Charles Riddle.
Family and friends are invited to attend a burial service for Bill’s ashes to be held on Friday, May 10, at 11 a.m., at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the High Pointe Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830.
