Francesca M. (Cammarata) Kelly, lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 2nd. She was 88. Born in Boston and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Maria (Marino) Cammarata.
Francesca loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Francesca’s family was her pride and joy. She was an avid baseball fan and loved watching the Red Sox, she also enjoyed classical music, going to see the opera, vacationing on Cape Cod, and gardening, she had a natural green thumb and her garden was absolutely beautiful and constantly blooming.
Francesca was the beloved wife of the late Eugene G. Kelly. She was the devoted mother of Eugenia Anglin and her husband Francis, Theresa Comeau and her late husband Lawrence, and Mary Catherine Kelly. She was the loving grandma of Brian and Daniel Comeau, Kevin Anglin and his wife Dylan, Rachel, Kelly and Ryan Anglin, and loving great-grandmother of Eirnin Anglin. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, May 10th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4- 8 pm. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
