WIGMORE, Mary E. (Carter) Of West Roxbury, May 1, 2019. Age 89. Beloved wife of the late James Wigmore. Devoted mother of James Wigmore Jr. and his wife Dina of Scituate, Joannie Keefe and her husband Steve of Scituate, Marie Citrone and her husband Anthony of Dedham, Charles Wigmore of N. Attleboro, Elizabeth Petrie and her husband Michael of Newton, Donna Lucente and her husband Richard of Norfolk, and the late Edward Wigmore and his surviving wife Sonia of Newton. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Sister of Nancy Palmer, Elizabeth Ingram, Viola Carter, and the late Joan and Frederick Carter.
Mary was a graduate of The Academy of Notre Dame and Fisher Junior College. She went on to marry Jim and raised 7 children before starting her professional career in the corporate offices of BayBank.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Monday, May 6 from 5-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home, Tuesday, May 7 at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
