Mary B. (Pendergast) Muldoon, 76, of New Bedford passed away Saturday April 27, 2019 at Care One of New Bedford after a long illness. She was the wife of Thomas P. Muldoon, Jr.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John F. and Catherine (Parrott) Pendergast, she lived in Ohio for twenty years and in Georgia for two years before returning to New Bedford.
Mary was formerly employed for 15 years as a paraprofessional at New Bedford High School and Keith Middle School until her retirement.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School, Class of 1960, and Kinyon-Campbell Secretarial School.
She enjoyed visits with her grandchildren and her many friends from the school department.
She is survived by her husband Thomas; three children, Bridget Muldoon of Marysville, OH, Kelly Muldoon of New Bedford, and Patrick Muldoon of Fayetteville, AR; her siblings, John Pendergast, Jr. of Fairhaven, James Pendergast of Bellingham, and Janet Kanter of Pismo Beach, CA; three grandchildren, Katie, Megan, and Patrick; a great-granddaughter, Keagan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Phyllis Boucher, Jean Quigley, William Pendergast, Kay Guliano, and Robert Pendergast.
