SOMERVILLE, MA - Loretta Jean Slawinski, age 75, a long time resident of Somerville, died Monday morning, April 29, at the Winchester Hospital, after a courageous nine-month battle with Cancer.
She is survived by her “pride and joy,” her son, Michael Slawinski and his companion Jennifer M. Lynch of Dracut; her “B.F.F.” (Best Friend Forever) Barbara Welsh of Somerville; her sister, Debbie Andella of Somerville, her brother Jimmy Andella of Somerville, whom she adored, her brother Louie Andella of Reading, her sister Barbara Jewers of RI; her beloved grandchildren, Krystal, Kaitlyn and Kyler; her beloved great grandchildren, Krystin, Royce, and Deklan. “Auntie Redda” also leaves several nieces and nephews including Steven Andella, and Christine Jewers; and was predeceased by her nephew, Scott Andella.
A Memorial Service is planned in June.
