Maria (Libertone) Guernelli, of Boston, formerly of Everett, passed away on Wednesday, April 24th. She was 90. Born and raised in Mirabella Eclano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Angelamaria (Cobuccio) Libertone.
Maria was the beloved wife of the late Romano Guernelli. She was the loving aunt of Angela Gelormini and her husband John, Lilia Aldorasi and her husband Carmen, Leandra LaFrazia and her husband Rafael, and Sonia Lombardi and her husband Kevin. She was the caring great-aunt of 8, and great-great aunt of 3. She was the dear sister of the late Luciano Libertone and his surviving wife Michelina.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Monday, April 29th from 10 to 11 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with entombment in the Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
