Worcester- Anna C. (Parolis) Twigg, of Jefferson St., died Wednesday, Jan. 4, in St. Vincent Hospital.
She leaves a son, Martin H. Twigg of Holden; a sister, Sally Hart of Warwick, RI; a nephew and two nieces. Another son, Mark P. Twigg, died in 1986. She was also predeceased by a brother and three sisters. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Paul and Anastasia (Benderick) Parolis, and lived here most of her life. She graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Junior College.
Mrs. Twigg was a chef and food supervisor at University of Massachusetts Hospital, before retiring in 1985. At one time she was a hairdresser.
She was a member of St. Casimir Parish and attended Ascension Parish.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made t o a charity of the donor’s choice. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., is assisting the family with arrangements.
