James “Aaron” McBrayer, 41, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Lenox Church of God with the Rev. Brad McVea officiating. Aaron will be laid to rest at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton. The family will receive friends Friday, April 26, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The family will be meeting at the home of Michaela and Bobby Underwood, 76 E. R. Willis Road in Tifton.
Bobby Underwood, Marty Frazier, Terry Hall, Gregg Horne, Kenny Barfield and Anthony Torres will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ashley Dean, Mark Guess, Donald Harris, Richard Varnadoe, Dayton Griffin and Josh Blackston.
Born December 5, 1977 in Tifton, Aaron was the son of Janice Selph McBrayer of Tifton and Michael and Sharon McBrayer of Tifton. He worked as a construction inspector with CSI, Inc. and was a member of Lenox Church of God. He was the leader of Celebrate Recovery in Lenox.
In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his wife, Sherri Frazier McBrayer of Tifton; one son, Sam McBrayer of Tifton; one daughter, Jordan McBrayer of Tifton; four step-daughters, Katy Isaza of Tallahassee, Florida and Aubrey Weldon, Laina Weldon and Isabela Soto, all of Tifton; one sister and brother-in-law, Michaela and Bobby Underwood of Tifton; two grandchildren, Piper McBrayer and Paisley Weldon; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lamar and Julia Frazier of Tifton; a brother-in-law, Marty Frazier of Tifton; two nieces, Hannah Underwood and Haley Camargo and her husband, Greg and their children, Kylie and Mason; and a nephew, Cayden Underwood.
