
Ronald V. Pasquini, age 73, passed on April 12, 2019 away surrounded by his loving family at Wingate of South Hadley. He was born on Feb. 5, 1946 in Ludlow, a son of the late Quinto and Lena (Vivier) Pasquini. Ronald joined the US Army after high school and served during the Vietnam War. He later worked in the bulk mail center for the US Postal Service for many years before he retired. Ronald loved to visit Quabbin Reservoir and became known for his knowledge about the area. He often was invited to give speeches about Quabbin’s history. He also served as a part of the Chicopee Citizens Police Academy and was a member of the American Legion Post 277. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth “Betty” A. (Basler) Pasquini of Chicopee; 1 son Joseph Pasquini and his wife Tai of Holyoke; 5 step-sons Donzol Patrick of Chicopee, Michael Patrick and his Fiancé Donna of Charleston, MA, John Patrick of Chicopee, Mark Foti and his wife Jean of Chicopee and Michael Forti; 1 step-daughter Angela Taylor and her husband Al of Georgia; 2 brothers Robert Pasquini and his wife Doris of Ludlow, Richard Pasquini and his wife DuAnne of Ludlow; 14 grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Raymond Pasquini. The family would like to thank the Beacon Hospice, especially John, Nichole and Tracy for all of the care and support they had shown during his stay. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home followed by an in house Prayer Service at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
