CHICOPEE ~ Matthew John “Matt” Koske, 46, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Home on Saturday, April 20, 2019 in Holyoke. He was born in Northampton on August 20, 1972, a beloved son of Wayne E. Koske and the late Ellen M. (Curley) Koske who was Called Home on April 30, 2007. He was raised in Holyoke, graduated from Dean Technical High School in Holyoke and had lived in Holyoke for most of his life. He moved to Chicopee in 2014. He was employed as a tractor trailer operator for various local trucking companies. An active outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend of 18 years, Jessica E. Petta; his two loving daughters, Alyssa E. Koske and her companion, Charles Camarillo, of Holyoke and Amber E. Koske of Chicopee; his cherished granddaughter, Evanna Camarillo; his loving father and step-mother, Wayne E. and Clairealine M. (Montcalm) Koske of Chicopee; his two dear brothers, Ryan W. Koske and his wife, Erin, of Holyoke and Andrew Kirkpatrick of Easthampton; his two cherished nephews, Liam Koske and Nate Arroyo; his cherished niece, Raeghan Koske; his caring paternal grandparents, John and Alice (Kirby) Koske of Sarasota, FL; and his many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended members of the Koske, Petta, Curley and Montcalm families. A Celebration of Life Service for Matthew will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 5 p.m. at Camp Jahn, 24 Camp Jahn Road, Southampton, MA 01073. There are no visiting hours. His funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
