Deanna P. Eldridge, 75, of Whitman, passed away at her home on Monday April 22nd, after a period of failing health. She was the daughter of the Deane E. and Elizabeth (Preston) Eldridge and the lifelong companion to the late Evelyn Basler.
Deanna was born and raised in Plymouth, attended the Oak Grove High School in Maine.
She was a very artistic person with her hobbies including, painting, drawing and woodworking, she also loved animals especially cats and adored her companion cat “Alex”.
Deanna id survived by her sister, Sally Howard and her husband Joseph of Manomet, her three nieces Julie Head, Pamela Finn and her husband John, Tally Piermarini and her husband Rick and her nephew Christian Howard. She was also the sister of the late Joanne “Chickie” Arnold and Nancy Eldridge.
She will be greatly missed by all who came into contact with her, for the strength she had through adversity.
A very special thank you to Hospice for their special heartfelt support, and to all the other “angels” who came to care for her.
Her graveside service will be held on Saturday April 27th at 11:30AM in the Mt Vernon Cemetery, Central Street, Abington.
