Anthony C. “Tony Martin” Servideo of W. Palm Beach, Florida, and Boston’s North End passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare in Wakefield. He was 87 years of age.
Born in Boston, Anthony was the loving son of the late Giovanni Servideo and Catherina (Gratta) Servideo. Anthony was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.
Anthony was the Former General Manager of the Casino Theater in Boston’s Scolley Square. He was a proud US Army Veteran of World War II.
Anthony was the beloved husband of 58 years to Mafalda M. “Muffy” (Agresti) Servideo. He was the devoted father of John A. Servideo of West Palm Beach, Florida, Paul A. Servideo and his wife Janice of Stoneham, Anthony C. Servideo Jr. and his wife Tracy of Jupiter, Florida. Anthony was the cherished grandfather of Catherine, Gina, Sophia, Anthony and Olivia and the loving great grandfather of Ava Grace. He was the dear brother of John V. Servideo of Brockton, Betty Sgarano and Mary Ranieri, both of the North End of Boston and the late Frank Servideo.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Anthony’s life in St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Friday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslindale.
